The water leak repair is completed, and a temporary patch has been placed until temperatures and weather conditions allow for a permanent patch to be completed. A permanent repair is expected to be completed by Friday, Jan. 17.

Work is not expected to take place during peak traffic times. The City thanks the public for their patience as we ensure Auburn's roads are properly maintained.

Auburn, Ala. - A portion of the southbound lane of Hamilton Road between Annabrook Drive and Barkley Crest Lane will be closed Monday, Jan. 13, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. to repair a water leak.

Southbound traffic will be shifted to the center lane to keep traffic flowing in both directions. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to follow posted signage to navigate around the work. Customers will be notified ahead of time, if any water outages are anticipated.
